Sandy is the Executive Director and President of the Board of Directors of AiM. She has worked in the nonprofit world since 1987 that commenced at the Textile Museum, Washington, DC. She studied the arts and humanities at the University of Minnesota and photography and the Corcoran School of Art. She passionately supported the local artists and students and is committed to the arts and cultural education/opportunities for all.
Gallery Assistant, part-time
Christina joined AiM in the fall of 2019. She graduated in May 2019 from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a degree in Wildlife Conservation.
She is currently teaching classes, as well as working on the website and social media at AiM. Through The Path Foundation grant AiM received, she is a guest art teacher at Claude Thompson Elementary - AiM is supplementing their art program.
We are thrilled that she has joined us for her experience complements AiM's art educational mission and including a strong cross-cultural component. Here are some of her projects:
